Coach Wanted!

LMRC is currently seeking to hire a Head Coach for the Men’s Masters Team. Full job description available on Row2k. Please email us for any inquiries related to this position

Practice Schedule

Tuesday: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.

New Rowers

Experience Required: A prospective new team member should be an experienced rower with a fitness level allowing immediate participation in the workouts. However, “rusty” rowers are welcome to try out for a 2-week period, since improvement is the best indicator of eventual success. Prospective Men’s Masters Team rowers can also try out after rowing with the Mixed Masters Team

Attendance: All team members are expected to attend all practices. However, members can sign out on the team’s calendar for work, vacation, and other reasons at the discretion of the member, who must remember that attendance is one of the criteria used by the coach in setting race lineups.

Money Matters: In addition to club membership, Masters Men’s Team participants pay a small additional monthly coaching fee of $13/month. Coxswains (except those who also row) are not charged any of these fees, but must sign a release and complete the swim test requirement of LMRC membership.
